ZIMBRO has been dedicated, for about 3 decades, to the production of liqueurs and spirits and also to their distribution in Portugal and abroad. It started its activity in the late 80s in the village of Tortosendo, on the slopes of Serra da Estrela, at the hands of its mentor Artur Aleixo, accompanied by a solid and fundamental team of collaborators until today.

Starting its activity by producing the traditional liqueurs of Serra da Estrela – one of the business cards of this emblematic region – and some market follow-up products, the company has sustained its growth and progressed over the years, currently counting on a portfolio of approximately seven dozen products with own production brands, such as Licor Serrano, Ginja Serra da Estrela or Aguardente de Medronho.
