The 2018 vintage went particularly well for us, with long and judicious maturations, a temperate year that only got a slight start at the end of the vintage. Such adventure allowed 2018 to provide long and slow maturations that our strains took advantage of to present grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. If we also add details such as the proximity of the winery to the vineyards, the traditional treading on foot in wine presses, and resting in French oak barrels, it will be easy to see why we were able to present this edition of Tiago Cabaço Vinhas Velhas.
