Vinification:
Maceration in small presses at a temperature between 24 and 26ºC. Use of gravity techniques for moving grapes/must/wine. Aging for 22 months in new French oak barrels.
This is the first wine from Quinta dos Muros’s old vineyard parcel (M7). The wine that determined that this parcel should be preserved. In this year of 2016, a selection was made of the plants to be vinified, just by tasting the berries in the field. After careful fermentation in micro presses, the result is a wine that respects the plot and grape varieties from which it originated.
