Vinification:
Fermentation in stainless steel vats. Maceration under temperature control at 24-26 °C. Aging of 25% of the wine in French oak barrels for 9 months.
The use of different varieties to obtain complete and complex wines is something that the Douro dominates due to the vast experience accumulated over the centuries. These wines have an enviable capacity for aging in the bottle.
