The Moscatel variety is one of the best known aromatic varieties. Its excellent fruitiness is something that floods the winery when working with this variety. If, on the one hand, this variety produces excellent nectars when aged and subjected to normal oxidation, what is certain is that this oxidation partly destroys the primary aromas of this variety. So Quinta do Portal
since 1995, it has been developing a style that preserves these fruity aromas of Moscatel Galego.
Displays an extremely elegant color, faint golden. With a delicate body, with an excellent sweet/acid balance, it easily denounces the variety that gave it
origin, for the fresh exuberance of its aroma and flavor.

Vinification:
Maceration in a press and closed tank, with temperature control (20-22ºC) Aging and released for at least 7 years after harvest, this wine is then bottled every year.
The Moscatel from Quinta do Portal ages in old oak casks, in the style of Old Tawnies.
