As in 2007, we have decided to once again bring Touriga Franca to the batch of what was initially a bivarietal, this time in a 2009 version.
This 2009 shows a concentrated violet color, reveals aromas of black fruits, floral and mineral aromas. As a young person, you will show an expressive presence that will benefit from some bottle aging, harmony and elegance. It is found while young, somewhat shy, with a strong structure and concentration, showing itself at the end of the test more harmonious, leaving a long and complex ending.

Vinification:
Maceration in small presses at a controlled temperature of 24-26ºC and using gravity techniques for moving grapes/must/wine. Aging for 14 months in new French oak barrels.
The use of different varieties to obtain complete and complex wines is something that the Douro dominates due to the vast experience accumulated over the centuries. These wines have an enviable capacity for aging in the bottle.
