This is the old category called Vintage Character. It is a blend of the best Rubies of each year, which, due to the fact that they are “accustomed” to oxygenation, is a proper wine to have at home. In fact, this wine manages to preserve the characteristics of a great new and fresh Port for a long time after opening.
With a strong ruby color, this wine has a great fragrance of red fruits, while in the mouth it already has aromas that tend towards spices and dried fruits, while maintaining the vivacity of a Young Port. Very engaging and with great character, it displays an excellent and complex finish, only possible in high quality Ports.

Vinification:
Maceration at an approximate temperature. from 28-30°C. Internship and Four years in old wooden casks.
The cultivation of vines in the Douro, the first Demarcated Region in the world, is lost in the memory of time. Located in the northeast of Portugal, in the hydrographic basin of the River Douro, surrounded by mountains that give it particular characteristics, the region covers a total area of 250,000ha, being divided into three naturally distinct sub-regions.
