Pinot Noir is considered by many to be the best varietie in the world. This copy of Quinta do Cidrô shows a different facet from the usual by incorporating the finesse and elegance of this typical Borgonha variety with the structure and minerality of the Douro.
Tasting Notes:
Shows an open color, of bright ruby. The typicality of the variety is expressed through notes of cherry and pomegranate, living peacefully with the nuances of vanilla and very light notes of coffee powder resulting from a 12-month stage in French oak barrels. A very balanced wine, round and full of intense fruit flavors with a long and persistent end of tasting

Vinification:
During fermentation, the manual method of “lowering the blanket” is used in order to achieve a gentle extraction capable of providing delicate aromas. The stage occurs for a period of 12 months in used French oak barrels.
