This powerful yet elegant Red, expresses the excellence of the wines of Cidrô. It results from a careful selection of Touriga Nacional & Cabernet Sauvignon, the predominant castes in Quinta de Cidrô. It is a well structured and full-bodied wine, however, fresh and elegant.
Tasting Notes:
A truly “Super Douro” who results from a harmonious and powerful lot of Touriga Nacional (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%). It shows a lot of intensity and complexity in the nose where spicy aromas, black fruit, mint and vanilla are highlighted, demonstrating all its youth. A well-structured and full-bodied wine, however, fresh and elegant.

Vinification:
Fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats with temperature control, followed by a stage in French oak barrels for a period of 14 months, in which 50% of the wine aged in new barrels.
