Vintage Port Wine is originally from the oldest Demarcated Region in the world, the Alto Douro Vinhateiro. This vintage port is an elegant port rich in soft tannins, with a long and persistent finish.
Tasting Notes:
Quinta das Carvalhas Vintage has an intense purpura color, revealing all its youth. The wine demonstrates a magnificent bouquet of ripe fruit, floral nuances and esteva, while on the palate it is firm, mineral and with great definition. However, it proves elegant and rich in soft tannins, with a long and persistent finish.

Vinification:
Manual harvesting. Step-by-step process on traditional granite winches. The fermentation interruption is done, in turn, by the addition of wine brandy, followed by a step in oak wood barrels for two years.
