Vinification:
Fermented in stainless steel vats for 15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Romaneira is one of the most grandiose and historic farms in the Douro, being among the three or four largest farms in the region. The property is quite extensive, being flanked for about two kilometers by the Douro River. The best Douro wines are produced from grapes grown either on the banks of the Douro River or on its tributaries. The red varieties of Romaneira come, exactly, from vineyards located by the river.
