Quinta da Romaneira Vintage 2018 is magnificently ripe, full of color, intensely fruity, expressive and with a wonderful underlying freshness. The nose is characteristic of Romaneira, wild and aromatic, like taking a walk around the farm! The finish is long and delicate.

Vinification:
The grapes are trodden on foot in the wineries of the Quinta to obtain the must. They are then macerated during fermentation in order to obtain the best possible extraction of the polyphenolic components. Short 4-day fermentation cycle.
Romaneira is one of the greatest and most historic estates in the Douro, being among the three or four largest estates in the region. The property is quite extensive, being flanked for about two kilometers by the river Douro. The best Douro wines are produced from grapes cultivated either on the banks of the Douro river or its tributaries. The red grape varieties of Romaneira come, exactly, from vines located by the river.
