The Porca de Murça Reserve Red can express the original side of the Douro, in touriga Nacional is found elegance and in the Old Vineyards rusticity and complexity.
Tasting Notes:
A very fresh wine, beautiful ruby color with aromas of red fruits harmoniously integrated with notes of vanilla, demonstrating a lot of aromatic intensity. Very balanced and round resulting in a nice and long end of the race.

Vinification:
The lot has 50% Touriga Nacional and 50% of Old Vineyards where 25 varieties mixed in a single plot are identified. Touriga Nacional, from Quintas do Casal da Granja and Cidrô, where it benefits from a mild climate and a high altitude, gives acidity and elegance to the lot, while the Old Vineyards of Quinta das Carvalhas provide structure and complexity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats before a twelve-month stage in French oak barrels.
