Pollen grains, are the reproductive cells of plants that, bees collect for food. They are their source of protein, minerals and vitamins.
Composition:
Their composition and colour vary depending on their botanical origin. Presenting a protein content usually between 10 to 30%. With a high biological value protein, as it contains all the essential amino acids, which we cannot synthesise.
Very rich in group B, C, D and E vitamins and also very rich in enzymes, minerals and polyphenols and bioflavonoids which give it antioxidant capacity.
How to take:
Polen should be consumed daily, because it can provide all the amino acids needed for our biological metabolism.
One tablespoon of pollen, per day, preferably soaked in water, juice, warm tea or dissolved in yogurt and can reduce the amount of meat intake
For children up to 10 years old, use one dessert spoon.
After the age of 50, 2 spoonfuls of pollen a day are an important help in slowing down the natural aging process.
