Tasting Notes:
Arbutus brandy is a traditional fruit brandy made from the fruit of the strawberry tree (medronho), typical of the Algarve mountains in Portugal. Strawberry trees grow wild on poor soils in rural regions such as Alentejo and the inland Algarve.

Production:
It is at Herdade do Rio Torto, in Alqueva, that this project was born, a passion of the producer for the medronho and for everything that the production of this drink entails. It is through the Medronho Museum that he built that we make known the entire production process, from the characteristics of the medronho to the distillation process and the final product.
