Vinhão Anselmo Mendes is obtained from the typical Vinhão grape variety produced in Ponte da Barca in the Lima sub-region with granitic, deep soils and poor in organic matter. The vineyards are in half hillside with exposure to the south and markedly Atlantic influence. The harvest takes place in October in order to ensure a total and perfect maturation of the grapes while ensuring the preservation of its particular acidity. These characteristics will thus accentuate the freshness and aromatic intensity of this grape variety.
Tasting Notes:
Strong violacea color. Aromas of wild and red fruits, particularly plum and cherry. Acidity well creased with tannins present, but soft and well integrated.
