J. CABRAL ALMEIDA is a wine company founded by João Cabral de Almeida, a 36 year old winemaker from Portugal working mainly in the North of Portugal in the regions of Vinhos Verdes, Douro and Dão.

The winemaking concept of J. CABRAL ALMEIDA WINES is to demonstrate the potential of different grape varieties in different terroirs. Our wines are produced using a philosophy of minimal winemaking intervention to help reflect the authenticity of each grape variety / terroir.

J Cabral de Almeida is a project based on the search for the best terroirs to produce original and distinctive wines.

The producer’s motto is “we want to bottle Portugal”!
